I do not understand. [The ferryman shoves the tablet into her hands and points towards the city again.] What is my mission?

We have yet to find any escape. The gods, Hades and Hecate, are fond of meddling in our affairs, manipulating us physically as well as mentally, and using what is found there against us. There seems to be no reason behind it.
