[ When the camera flips on, there is not much for it to regard. The ceiling is exposed, sloped above. The sound of soft breathing, of rustling sheets. After a moment, there is shifting. The tablet has a small hand flopped over it, obscuring much of the picture with small fingers half-curled in the comfort of sleep

[In all honesty, she finds this somewhat adorable. She doesn't want to admit that though, so she's just going to watch.]

[ Adorable or not, Garrett is poised to sneak around the outhouse when he notices the shining glow of the tablet, and glances towards it. He chooses to ignore it, however, playing it off as a trick of still being tired, and instead favours finishing sneaking around the outhouse to get the jump on his siblings. ]

AWOOOooooOOOO I am the sköll come to feast on your tasty flesh and chew on your bones! [ Bethany screams shrilly and Carver nearly jumps out of his skin, letting out a loud yelp. Garrett dissolves into laughter then, despite himself. ]

[And she just starts laughing. A lot.]

[She grins and causes a little bit of lightning to zap back and forth in her hands, just for added effect.] Yes, 'tis a scary, scary witch.

H-hey! [ He moves to inspect what Carver is doing when the other calls him over, but takes a cautious step back when he sees her playing with lightning. ] Carver! Carver get way from there!

[ All at once Garrett's seizing Carver, pulling the younger behind him and puffing up his chest, waving his stick threateningly at the image of the small woman. ] Carver, take Bethany inside!

[ Protect, and defend. That was Garrett's primary goal. Get his siblings inside safe; figure the rest out from there. ]

[She chuckles.] Yes, beat it with a stick. That shall certainly protect them.

[She tilts her head.] Your father was a mage?

My father is a mage. A very powerful one at that! [ He glances to where Carver is trying to wriggle around, but keeps a grip on the younger's shoulder, to keep him at bay. Not sure about this woman's intentions, and certainly not about to jump head first into trusting her, able to use lightning like their father or no. ] Carver stop being stupid!

I am not going to hurt you, child. [She just sighs and shakes her head.]

[ Maker dammit Carver, how did you ever live long enough to even get trampled by the ogre with such flawed logic.

Garrett purses his lips, and eyes the woman in the mirror incredulously. ]

How are you in there, anyway? [ He asks this warily as he moves towards the tablet. Hesitates, before leaning down to collect it from the grass. ]

'Tis a smart child, lightning in a mirror cannot harm you. [She shrugs.] This is a device, I am certain you do not remember what it is because you are reliving some silly memory, but you knew at one time. Sort of.

[ Garrett gives Morrigan a funny look. ]

Memory? Lady you are talking about such crazy things! [ He shakes his head. ] Forgive me- but- are you a little touched in the head?
