Or the Boogeyman'll Get You
June 7th-11th
What starts out as nightmares quickly escalate into intense, horrific dreamscapes that either keep your characters from sleeping or force them to avoid trying to sleep. It should be noted, if a character is wounded or killed in a nightmare, they are wounded or killed for real, and will either wake up from this dream injured, or won’t wake up. Note: A death in a dream does count as an Underworld Death and the character will be dead after the event is finished.
If they succeed in staying up, they will be tormented in reality, something is under your bed or in your closet. It’s watching you, but what does it want? If anyone should catch of glimpse of the creeping thing that stalks them, no two descriptions will be the same. Some may see a monster, some may see the face of a loved one, horrifically mauled or pleading for help; anything to immobilize you with your own personal terror.
Things to Keep in Mind:
♦ The dead will experience the second part of the event more intensely than the living. This means they will experience the torment in reality with something under your bed creeping around and trying to terrorize you.
♦ You're free to personify this character however you want. Remember, this will be terrifying.
♦ You won't be able to use powers to fend off the Bogeyman, if you try they will result in bad things happening. (Like a spell would blow up in your face, or something of that nature.)
♦ You will never actually confront the Bogeyman and you will not be able to fight him.
