Thomas spent a moment blinking at his tablet before he grabbed a coat and headed out. Since when had his little brother been anything but jovial, even under pressure? They'd talked for over a minute. He hadn't cracked on joke. Something was wrong. So, he beat feet to where Harry said he was, a thousand thoughts flying through his mind. By the time he arrived at the docks he'd decided he'd been right to worry. Home wasn't a good place for Harry, and what was even worse: he had no idea what his little brother could have faced.
And there was the lingering revolving comment Harry'd made. Mab's going to be pissed. What the hell did Mab have to do with this? Even moreso what bothered him was the emotion in his brother's eyes, the pain, the regret, the guilt. And yet, he was glad to see him. What had happened?
He had a feeling he was going to find out follow shortly by the sneaking suspicion he wasn't going to like it.
