Anise was looking for anything that was worth buying. She didn't have any money with her but she might as well get some food as backup. Most her housemates had suffered and ,no matter how much she wanted to go, she was forced to stay behind. She was sixteen, it wasn't fair that she looked 3 years younger!

To make up for that loss, she thought she might as well cook for them. That was all she could do at the moment. Although, she did want to look around and see what this place has.

Stepping back from one of the market stalls she'd been looking at, Minako nearly bumped into Anise as the other girl passed by, and she turned quickly to apologize. "Ah, sorry about that," she said, raising both hands in front of her with a vaguely embarrassed smile. "I wasn't paying enough attention. My fault."

For a moment, Anise almost fell. Who was the jerk that wasn't watching where he was going? When she opened her eyes, she saw it was a girl she never met before. Okay, maybe she can let it go this time.

"Hey, it's not a problem! I didn't mind it!" She looked at the girl again. "So, are you new here?"

"That's right," she said, nodding, and offered out a hand and a smile. "You could tell? My name's Minako Arisato. It's nice to meet you."

Anise took her hand and shook it. "I've been here for about a month and since there aren't a lot of people here, I can usually tell." Before she introduced herself, she pointed to the doll behind her back.

"Anyway, the name's Anise and this is Tokunaga! Pleasure to meet you, Minako~"

"Thanks." Minako took an interested look at Tokunaga before her attention returned to Anise, and she smiled again in a friendly manner. "It's been more like a week or so for me. This is the first chance I've really had to get a look around, though, with everything else that's been going on."

"That would mean you were here right before the mist came! Hehe, you were lucky. Who knows what might have happened if you were!" Although, Anise, despite how mean she is, wouldn't wish it on anyone to suffer what those people went through. "So did you go to the rescue missions to save anyone?"

The question brought a somewhat more serious look to Minako's face, and she nodded again. "Yes. One of my friends was taken, so we went down there to bring her back." She looked down at the ground in front of her feet for a moment. "It was pretty bad."

"Is she okay now?" She asked before looking around for any place where they could sit. It looks like they were going to be talking for a little while. "Is she resting like she should? Or is she getting enough to eat?"

"I'm not really sure," Minako admitted reluctantly. "It's a little complicated, so I can't push too hard right now. I know the other guys are making sure to look out for her, though." That, at least, she could say with complete faith.

Admittedly, Anise was feeling a bit envious. It sounds like she didn't have one friend from her world but probably several others. Here, Anise was all by herself and had to start over again. "At least your friend is safe now! A couple of my housemates were kidnapped too but..." A pause. "I really couldn't do anything."

"...oh. I'm sorry." It was more an expression of sympathy than it was an apology - Minako hadn't had anything to do with people being abducted, after all - but maybe there was a bit of an apology in it too, for inadvertently creating an uncomfortable feeling. "It's hard not being able to do anything. Are they all right now?"

"As about 30 minutes ago, they look like they're fine. They're slowly getting better but..." She sighed with a shrug. "Looks like the best that I can do now is just help them with food. There's really not much else I can do." A part of her is slightly bitter that no one took her seriously but another part of her wondered was it for the best.

Minako fell quiet for a moment, looking thoughtful. "They're probably grateful that you're doing it, though," she said slowly. "Maybe it's just me, but I think simple things like that are important, too."

A sigh. "I suppose, I really should learn to be more optimistic about it though!" While she was use to being supportive such as cooking and casting, she was so use to fighting in the front lines rather than be in the background. It still wasn't fair. In a couple of years, she will grow up and people will take her seriously. "They should be grateful for it! Those are hours I'm never getting back!"

"They're lucky to have you looking after them," Minako said with a smile. "Especially in a place like this."
