{Feorlin had been napping against a wall in the house she now shared with Zakurai after what she thought was a well deserved snack of cookies. That was until she found herself dropped on her ass in the middle of... somewhere she doesn't recognise. Again.
Standing up, her first concern was to ensure she had her Gobbiebag and equips. That checked and all in place, she looks around and spots the other four people nearby; people she didn't recognise. That wasn't a strange occurrence for her though - her profession meant she met a lot of people, teamed up with strangers all the time. Dusting herself off, she began to approach them, a great big smile in place.
Then she noticed the looks on their faces and she stopped suddenly and her face fell, ears drooping a little. She suddenly wasn't so sure she'd been napping in the house, but that instead she'd been in a party, resting to get her mp up, and then had tele'd them all somewhere but failed to cast properly - again. She danced on her toes, looking right and left, panic on her face.}
Oh no! I'm so sorry guys! I didn't mean to! I ne-- usually don't cast the wrong spells! {Oh, that was strange - she had wanted to say never, but it just hadn't come out that way...} Gather together! I'll get us out!
[Anders had been in his clinic for most of the day, though the rate of people being sick and injured is remarkably low compared to Dark Town. Oh well, that gives him time to play with Messere Meowmers! The kitten was a little skiddish from its experience with the other cats (that all went berserk for some reason, much to Anders's dismay) but still trusted the mage's company, at least.]
...promise I won't let anyone hurt you ever a- ...[Annnnd now he's no longer in his clinic but instead in some...maze thing along with other people.]
Maker's breath. Now what? [He opens the flap of his coat and places the kitten in one of his inner pockets and turns his attention to...the tiny...creature thing.] You did this?
[Minato had been about to take a break from training for snacks. He's been getting stronger, as well as his Personas. Though he's been wanting to get new ones for a while.
Too bad Igor isn't here--]
...?
[He glance around and see the other people here, blinking. His sword is still in his hand.]
[Balthazar shoots an irritated look over his shoulder at - the odd little whatever-it-was. He had little enough patience for mortals at the best of times, and in the current circumstances, the panic was likely to eat through his last nerve before noon.
Not that he knew precisely when noon was, down here.]
You had nothing to do with us getting dragged in here, and you have no hope of getting us out. So unless you're trying to summon a bloody rain storm, stop flailing.
I-I don't know! Maybe... I'm not sure! How can you be so sure?
{Luckily for Feorlin, she was used to being treated the way the big guy was treating her, so she shrugged it off. Even though he apparently knew she couldn't get them out of there, she knew it was worth a shot. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and brought her hands out in front of herself, summoning the magic from within her. A circle of white light surrounded her, bubbles of magic floating up and disappearing not far above her head. After a few moment, she threw one hand up in the air and...
Nothing happened. No-one even vanished and reappeared. It was the exact same that had happened when she'd arrived and tried to warp her and Zakurai out after he'd tackled her to the ground. Something was blocking her warp and teleport spells...
She sighed and kicked at the ground, turning to shake her head at her companions.}
Sorry, it didn't work. I thought I could warp us out of here, but really, my warp spells haven't been working since I arrived in this weird place. {A nervous chuckle, and then, to the big guy.} I can summon water if you'd like...
[Anders stares at the apparent light show. This isn't the sort of magic he's familiar with. Then again, he has no idea what the heck she is either. Anyway, there really is only one easy explanation for this.]
I don't think Hades intended to make this easy for us. We're going to have to get out of here the hard way. [He looks around at the possible paths which all looked identical.] I am Anders, for those who don't know. Is there anyone here who cannot defend themselves?
[A "meow!" comes from his coat and Anders soothes the kitty reassuringly.] We'll find a way out, Messere Meowmers. You'll see.
(ooc: Duuude, how you guys feel if they run into a group of genlocks? :D)
[Minato watch her cast the spell. It looks similiar to the Traesto spell.
Hearing the "meow" and the name, Minato glance over at Anders. The cat's here as well?]
I'm Minato Arisato, and I can fight. [He gesture to his sword and the gun-like evoker.] As it's likely I'll be using it, don't be surprised if you see me shoot myself with it to summon my Personas.
I'm sure because I'm an angel. We tend to be a bit more savvy than your average little orange rabbit-thing. And if you'd brought us down here, I'd have been able to get out.
[That brings Balthazar up short, a flicker of shock there and gone across his face. He hadn't been planning to divulge just what he was. Not yet, and not to a pack of complete strangers.
He scrubs a hand over his face, muttering a curse under his breath.]
I'm Feorlin! Black Mage Extraordinaire at your service! And, I can fight just fine! Oh but... I don't take a hit too well. {A chuckle and she rubs the back of her head before setting about changing her equipment to her battle gear...
And then a moment later, she's turning to glare at the so called angel guy.}
What did you just call me? I'm a Tarutaru, not an orange rabbit-thing! {She decides it's better to ignore the guy - if he wanted to be just like everyone else ever, then that was fine by her! She does mutter to herself about stupid humes and their bigotry for a minute before turning back to the group.}
Well, I have a terrible sense of direction without a map but I'm sure I couldn't get us out of-- Hey wait. {She stops what she was saying, because that so wasn't what she planned on saying. Well, whatever. This place was stupid, making her say things like that!
When she starts talking again, she's heading one way down the maze corridor anyway, practically ignoring the others.} Argh! What was that?! Oh! I don't care, let's get moving or we'll be stuck in here for-- {She vanishes around a corner and is gone for a moment. Then a scream rings out and she's appearing back around that corner, running as fast as her little legs will carry her, staff in hands and a few bumps and cuts visible. Behind her is a group of ugly, snarling Genlocks...} Heeeeeeellllp! I tried to sleep them but they kept hitting me and I forgot my buffs!!!
[What does he mean by Personas and what does she mean by vampires and did that man say he's an angel and what's a Taru-
Anders suddenly feels a head rush, a hand reaching up to massage his forehead. There's a feeling he hadn't felt in a while. He looks up and opens his mouth to warn the others but the little chatty thing ran off head.]
No! Come back! [Dammit.] Everyone, get ready. I sense- [He readies his staff to go after her...though apparently he doesn't have to go very far since she's running back...and a group of genlocks behind her.]
Whatever questions about them he have, they're quickly dashed when the genlocks appear, chasing after Feorlin.
Quickly, he bring out his evoker and point it at his head. And fire.]
Cu Chulainn!
[Instead of killing himself, a blue aura surrounds him and a warrior appears in front of him, casting a spell on the whole party. Matarukaja. Their attacks and offensive spells are temporarily boosted.]
Anders-san, you are familiar with them? Then what are their weaknesses?
...What are those things? [Caroline isn't running away but she's standing firm and looking horrified. Her teeth do click out though and her face changes because... Those beasts things are so gross!]
What--? [Balthazar cut off abruptly, gaze snapping briefly towards the entity Minato has just summoned. A strange sort of otherworld indeed. He grimaces, skin prickling a little with the feel of an unfamiliar spell settling over him.
Aside from the obvious surprise at unfamiliar creatures and unfamiliar magics, he seems entirely too casual. One hand, resting idly against his leg, twists in a minute gesture. The head of the genlock closest on Feorlin's heels twists an abrupt 180 degrees, bone and sinew crackling. It drops, neck snapped.]
{Feorlin's a little too occupied with trying to get away from her pursuers to notice her Minato shooting himself or the vampire-lady freaking out, though she does notice the pleasant tingle of friendly magic. Once she manages to get far enough away from the darkspawn, she skids to a halt and grabs her light staff out of her bottomless gobbiebag and begins casting buffs on herself - aquaviel, blink, stoneskin, reraise - and her companions - protectra, shellra.}
Try interrupting my spells now, uglies!
{Now she gets a good look at them, they sort of look like orcs. Probably vulnerable to water and ice spells then, she decides and swaps her light staff for her ice one.}
Someone watch my back while I cast this! {And this time when she starts casting, thin multicoloured beams rise up from the ground in a circle around her, her eyes are closed, brows drawn together in concentration.}

Self defense isn't going to be a problem.
