Sully does in fact show up, just like he promised.

He's hauling a box of heavy-duty trash bags, two shovels over his shoulder, and he's got a bandanna tied around his neck above his guayabera shirt. There's one sticking out of his pocket, too... along with some of those yellow dish-washing gloves. Sully ain't taking chances with this place.

"You sure about this?" he calls ahead of him as he hikes up to where the girl is. "Not to late for that coma."

Rose looked up at the sound of a voice, the picture of b-grade slasher movie delight as she stood there holding a large stick with remnants of victim number 2 hanging from it. Strip away the gory additions and she might have looked normal but it was hard to see all that behind the hoodie that was tied around her mouth and the entrails dripping on the floor.

"I've never been good at sitting on my ass all day." She shrugged, some of the body falling to the ground with a splodge. Her features disgusted behind the mask and it showed in her eyes. "Don't suppose you know the procedure for body disposal around here?" She was just gonna light it up but apparently they lived IN A CAVE! So that might have killed that bright idea.

If Sully hadn't in his life before now come uncomfortably close to some mutant spanish zombies-- and Nate's laundry-- his stomach might have revolted at the tableau spread out before him. Instead he just grunted and yanked the bandanna up so it covered his mouth and nose. The shovels and accessories were dumped so that he could hand the girl the other one.

"Well, if it's actually the Underworld of yore, I don't think there should be bodies at all. I'd say chuck em in the river with the rest of the dead guys... but that brings up uncomfortable drinking water questions." A pair of the gloves were passed over as well, and watch where's you're going with that body.

Rose dumped the remnants of one body mercilessly on top of another (like they really cared how their remains were discarded given their current placement), and tossed the stick, crossing over to wear Sully had arrived. She honestly hadn't expected anyone to agree to give her a hand, especially after she'd announced that this was Dracula's old place.

Rose took the bandanna and gloves gratefully, holding her breath while she tied the hoodie around her waist. She didn't bother to suppress a grin looking at the man standing across from her and imagining herself. If this scene weren't messed up enough already, they looked like a couple of bandits from an old western film. The only thing missing was Dimitri, waltzing in like death in a cowboy duster.

"Oh... yeah I'm Rose by the way." She offered him her hand and an easy smile that went all the way to her eyes. "Thank you for being one of the only people game to come up here."

Sully grinned back, but Rose wasn't going to see it through the bandanna... or maybe it was obvious enough by the way his eyes crinkled at the corners. "Sully." He took her yellow rubber-ed hand with his own and gave it a shake.

"And by the looks of it, I was the only bite you had. Unless there's someone around back." He lifted an eyebrow, but it was rhetorical. "I figure just as well. I need something to keep me busy right now and I love the thought of getting rid of the last of this asshole, trust me." Sully glanced at the spider carcasses and shook his head.

"I hate goddamned spiders."

"Well ya know." She shrugged. "Most people took the same approach you did to begin with. Lot's of 'don't stay there', 'are you mad?', 'you're on your own' type stuff..." Her eyes lit up at the thought of who was still to come. "This one chick though, she can move stuff with her mind and she's swinging by as well." She looks practically giddy at the thought, not just the extra help but come on... superpowers? Made what Rose could do positively lame ( ... )

"She can... move stuff. With her mind." It sounded dubious-- Sully actually had paused, taken his attention from the spider to look at Rose. Finally, he shrugged. Christ, next to just being here, what was the surprise factor on superpowers? Sully shook his head and turned to help with the remains Rose was handling.

"Okay. I have no problems with leaving the spiders to her. None at all-- hey, yeah, you gotta get under the squishy parts or you'll never get 'em all." He juggled the bag slightly to get what she was trying to load in. "And no, Vlad certainly had a nice place." Sully glanced up momentarily before turning back to work. "Great house. Creepy guy." Sully may have been one of the few who actually had gone all the way inside.

"Yeah, people seemed to seriously hate the dude." Which perhaps if she were to take a moment, she might be able to relate to, but from where Rose stood, it was just a bunch of people slamming her potential new pad. So fine, they were right, the corpses left much to be desired but strange as it may have seemed, this was the first time Rose was going to have a place to call her own, and bodies aside, she was secretly excited about that.

Rose dumped a load of remains and went back to repeat the process. "Did you..." OK so how to ask if a person knows an evil villain well? "Did you have much to do with him?" Though why she thought it was a good idea to learn more about the psychopath who was lord of her soon to be manor was beyond her. She had enough material for nightmares in her own reality let alone borrowing some from this one.

"If you'd met him, you'd hate him too." Sully shivered and hoped that Rose would write it off to all the decaying matter that they were flinging around. Truth was that he still sometimes had nightmares about what he'd seen in Vlad's head that day, the feeling of being the man, the pleasure of the kill ( ... )

"Well, more than likely but I tend to hate a lot of people, Vampire or not." Well it was true. She wasn't exactly known as the type to play well with others. She was sort of the Pitbull of the Dhampir world. She wasn't a bitch, ok well most of the time she wasn't but it was Rose's firm opinion that some people just weren't worth the effort in trying to like. Sully, well now he was a good sort. The Billy Idol wannabe... well if it weren't for the whole rescuing her from the dead bit (and yes, she hated being rescued) she probably would have wound up smacking him in the mouth. Even then, she still might ( ... )

"Nate did," Sully said with a shake of his head. "And Vlad pretty much put him through a wall-- Nate ain't exactly a slouch, either. So when Elena became the creep's juice service... then we all started talking, since he'd gotten on a few bad sides."

His lips thinned as he picked up his shovel again. "Before we could do anything he vanished. Got his name up on the board, I guess; went home to snack on someone else."

"Better them than us..." She supposed, though Rose really wasn't the sort to want to run away from something like that. This is the girl who trekked from one side of the world to the other just so she could hunt down and kill her boyfriend turned who had been Strigoi. So maybe they couldn't kill this Vlad dude for good, but staking him or cutting off his head every other day sure sounded like fun.

"So Nate and... Elena? You met them here or friends from... wherever you're from?" She was still trying to wrap her head around the whole people who knew each other turning up here. God, she could never imagine Adrian.

Sully snorted at that mentality. Girl after his own heart, this one. He pushed an arm (or... leg?) into the quickly filling bag of nasty remains. "Home, yeah." He jiggled the bag so the pieces fell in completely. "Known 'em a while."

"Did you all arrive together?" Because if they didn't, well maybe there was a chance Dimitri or Liss might show up. There was a part of her that hoped she wouldn't always be alone in this place but at the same time, well she couldn't imagine Liss surviving in a place like this. Dimitri, well he'd be fine. Liss... Rose would never sleep trying to protect her ass.
