He hated seeing Cas this way, he remembered the last time some bastards had snatched him up, tortured him for days. Trying to find out what made him tick, but this time, hell this time he could not even get Cas to sleep in a room again.
He wanted a piece of the asshole who did this and he wanted it badly, but he also knew he had to wait, it had to wait.
So Dean sat in a chair across from the couch while Cas finally fell into what he could not really call a restful sleep. His boots were propped up on the table in front of him and moments later the hunter himself dozed off right where he sat.
