So finals are over. So what?
I've cleaned my apartment anterior to posterior, dorsal to ventral, and lateral to medial. My papers are all either filed away, recycled, or otherwise put out of sight. None of this was accomplished through fourth-grade Joseph Sacks methods (oral consumption), however. I have no dirty dishes, no spoiled foods. The place is ready for guests.
TOO BAD NOBODY IS EVER AROUND DURING AND AFTER FINALS >_<
So to pass the time I now have acquired some fun readings. Actually, to be fair, I should say I bought one book and am going to catch up on my intended readings from before, namely, The Final Forest and Mountain in the Clouds. The book I obtained was on Aztec medicine and diet at the time of Spanish contact. These should be interesting reads. Now if somebody could just suggest a fine piece of literary fiction, I'd be a happy camper. I don't know a damn thing about fiction.
Maybe I should take that English course in the A-term in the summer. After all, it did sound interesting and the books they're reading look like they'd be fun. No mention shall go to how my biggest shortcoming on my UW transcript is my egregious lack of courses that could fulfill the Visual, Literary, and Performing Arts requirement.
Decisions. Decisions.
At least I'm programmed through the end of the weekend with work, lab, and a bonfire at Shilshole. I will contribute my White Pages that theoretically expired nine days ago, but for which I have yet to receive a replacement. After all, my unimportant academic work has all been recycled already...
