I've been letting this journal lay fallow for awhile, and some of you may have noticed. I seem to think that writing in a blog should be treated in the same way as a crop system: you have to let it lay completely dormant for a growing season so that the soils will be ready for more growth. Fortunately, the online growing season is very short, and it only takes a few weeks before I'm ready to write again. As with all things, you have to start out small, too.... so here's my sprout of an entry to last you a short time. I planted hops in my journal, though, so these entries will be growing in length at an alarming rate. Without much ado, here goes.
1. I'm leaving town today on my bicycle, and I'm going to be in either Oak Harbor, Anacortes, or Friday Harbor for the night. Tomorrow by noon I will be at Friday Harbor Labs with all my OCEAN 220 peeps, yo.
2. Finals are over. This is a relief for me as my courses this quarter weren't terribly inspiring. I don't expect stellar grades, but I also don't think I failed anything. For now, let freedom ring (TM).
3. I... met a boy to date. More details to come later, but for now I'll drop the name so that I don't have to refer to him through potentially ambiguous pronouns or awkward verbiage. His name is Trin[idad] and he hails from Bellevue. Yes, shoot me now. Bellevue.
There you have it. My sprout of a journal entry is over. Expect growth by the next LJ post, folks!
