bonds & blood and sisterhood by sir nicholas schram, for Diana

bonds & blood:
though at times,
a redundant thought

both flowing truer
than river

at times,
coalesced:
so family is

but it is when bonds overflow blood,
voraciously consuming,
overtaking dominating
that emerges
the Nature of Us:

though blood may flow from hearts
bonds are that which joins hearts,
indistiguishing the lifelines
of two careful individuals

beyond life,
beyond death,
our bonding love will stay true

for though blood may flow
a lifetime
strengthy bonds will flow
an infinitime
