I wrote this today in history. The last stanza is my most favorite.
Desire by Sir Nicholas Schram
Let your lips fall into the embrace of mine,
So that we may slip into the depths of our passion,
Where fingertips trace the rainbows of our bodies,
And tongues wrestle and tumble like autumn leaves.
Let my mouth suck the licentiousness from your chest,
So that inhibitions may be cast to the raging flames of our intimacy,
Where airy breathing panting is our only language,
And the gentle rumble of your groan is the only speech we share.
Let my hands define your most feminine essence,
So that you may escape in the honesty of my touch,
Where release comes at the command of my dexterity,
And all your worries flood from your body with a brilliant gasp.
Let yourself die an eternity in my arms,
So that I may whisper into your deaf ears,
Where all you hear is the soft breath of “I love you,”
And forever it is true.
