twelve cherry blossoms [VOICE]

[BZZZZZT!]

I see you've gotten no less impatient, communicator-san. Surely you don't think the rest of the city's resident are that eager to hear from me. I know that if I were to drop off the face of the earth quite a few of them couldn't be happier. I have little to say, I'm afraid, and pressing me to speak before I'm ready is rudeOf course ( Read more... )

Glad to hear it, of course... That was a fast recovery.

It seems it wasn't as bad as I'd feared. [Of course, now he's waiting for you to notice the cherry blossoms.]

[ Oh, he's noticed them, and this just adds to it. But he doesn't know how to react, hell, he sucks at reacting, really, normally at least (and he's scared, there's that, we won't talk about it, he remembers you beating him to death, taking your time-). So he plays the game instead, the one where he talks to you like he doesn't remember or care. The cheerful idiot one. ]

C'mon, you should at least [ ... ] get people to bring you tea an' soup.

no, i like it here :[ underthesakura September 17 2009, 18:31:20 UTC
[It's probably for the best Seishirou doesn't realize all of this, then. That would just make him want to poke for more reactions.]

Well, Subaru-kun has been taking good care of me.

Not good enough care. [ Out almost before Sakurazuka finishes his sentence, an automatic reaction, really-thinking before speaking? What? ]

I wouldn't say that where he can hear you, Arisugawa-kun. It would break his heart.

..............well okay fine if you use that face shockinglycool September 17 2009, 18:53:06 UTC
[ Starts to reply and clamps his mouth shut. Wait. Subaru-san... is staying with that guy. Weighing that for a minute. Sakurazuka wouldn't kill him, he's willing to bet. But- ]

You lose control of your powers when the chip's pulled out. You shouldn't be around people you aren't willin' to hurt, speakin' of heartbreak.

Really?

I feel insulted that you think I'd be so careless. I've taken the risks into consideration.

Course I did. [ That sits there a little awkwardly, at least to him, so he rushes out with: ] What did you even-I told you, didn't I? If ya caused trouble, I'd-

[ I'd what. I'd stop you? I'd kill you? And all of a sudden it dawns on him, all of it, all the connotations... and Sakurazuka's likely strength now. And his likely strength tomorrow. Well. ]

If I caused trouble you would do an unspecified something to me, yes. I haven't forgotten.

[But not only is he fairly sure he's an even match for Sorata -- at the very least -- he hasn't actually done anything to anyone, yet, and doesn't expect Sorata to have an easy time attacking him if he's behaving himself. Especially not with Subaru so near by.]

[ Pragmatically, with a lifetime of studying magic and magical families behind him, Sorata thinks they are even, in terms of raw power. On the other hand, he doesn't like fighting, doesn't like killing-that alone gives Sakurazuka a big advantage. Not to mention the extra years of experience...

He doesn't play it down, in his head. Doesn't try and fool himself that Sakurazuka-or any of the Dragons of Earth-is weaker than he actually is. Right now, Sakurazuka is weaker, though. He remembers getting his chip out. Right now... might be the last chance. Promises aside. Religious beliefs aside. Does he trust Sakurazuka to not use his powers, now that he has them back? No. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but someday, eventually...

Talking himself into it like that. Trying to convince himself. Now or never. Ideals don't factor in. ]

I think... this is kinda causin' trouble by itself... y'know...?

You could certainly see it this way. With the fog obscuring one's vision in the first place, the cherry blossoms are simply an added hazard. [Yes, Sorata, Seishirou is mocking you by implying that the cherry blossoms are all you have to worry about. He sees no reason not to, even knowing that it might bait Sorata into making his move.]

[ Actually, that almost makes him laugh. Almost is the key word. And he falls silent, really, after a half-laugh, because what comes next is... a decision. An action. The more he thinks about it the harder it'll be (he's not a good thinker, he knows that, complex stuff, doubt, considering of pros and cons-beyond him-).

He doesn't know where Sakurazuka is. If Subaru's around, one of the buildings. Not Latimir-he's pretty sure he'd have noticed that-and his magic can't really be used for it but he decides to try anyway. Decides. Acts. Forgets thinking in favor of doing. Gohoudouji can, after all, be used as messengers, and he does, after all, always sort of know where they are. Makeshift homing device get.

...

Last thought before going ahead with it: I'm gonna get punched in the face for this later.

Feel free to notice his little dragon-looking gohoudouji popping up briefly. If you kill it, it'll sort of hurt Sorata a bit, so feel free. ]

[Seishirou certainly notices it, but he doesn't try to kill it. Instead he simply approaches it with the intent of studying it, though if it tries to get away he'll throw out a quick charm to try to keep it there -- which only halfway succeeds, of course, meaning the little construct is still entirely capable of escaping if it wants to. Either way, Seishirou looks amused as he delivers his opinion on the thing.]

What an interesting little creature.
