[And once in the kitchen, Subaru will likely be able to see -- and hear! -- the hawk that's landed on the window sill and is impatiently rapping against the window with his beak.]

[He goes into the kitchen, immediately startled by the hawk rapping at the window. He knows he's seen that bird before, and can even remember a specific instance of seeing it. It startles him enough to cause him to drop the glass, causing it to shatter on the floor.]
A-ah!

[The bird jerks a little, as if startled, at the sound of the glass shattering. Then he recovers and raps on the window pane, harder and more insistently. If he hits it any harder it might break.]
[And of course, from the other room comes the sound of footsteps and Seishirou's voice.] Subaru-kun?

[Meanwhile, the bird fluffs up indignantly and raps against the window again, this time hard enough to put a crack in it. He's not used to being denied entry when he asks for it, and being a shikigami he sees nothing wrong with destroying the window in order to get through it.]
