It's Friday so it's Doggie Day. I was really serious about the keeping this up every week thing.

This week's dog: The Afghan Hound.

Class: Hound (obviously)
Origin: Afghanistan (obviously)

-One of the first, if not the first, sighthounds.
-Bred to hunt hares and gazelles.
-It's names in it's home country are Sag-e Tāzī or Tāžī Spai.
-The world's first cloned dog, Snuppy, was an Afghan Hound.
