Well, it's still March 31st here in New York, but in some places, it's already April 1st. And I fucking hate April Fool's Day. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good practical joke, something in good fun, something light-hearted. I still think that some of Blizzard's old jokes were hilarious, as are some of Google's.

Yeah, I hate it too, but fortunately I rarely ever get tricked and dissappointed because there's never any news I care about. Last year I was fooled by a very convincing video of a functioning homebrew DS emulator on wii, and angered when I realized the date, but that's about it.

The World of Starcraft thing also fooled me, but I also didn't really care since I'd never play it anyways. It was bloody annoying though.

So now I just go to various sites seeing what their pitiful attempt at an April Fool's joke is. Nintendo Life said virtual console confirmed for the DSI. Give me a break, you'd have to have just woken up and be completely unaware of the date to fall for something like that.

The romhacking.net/Aeon Genesis translations one is mildly annoying, it was a supposed finished english translation patch for the SNES Tactics Ogre, but is just messed up text. But there were status updates on it in Feb and March, so now I have to wonder if those were real lol. Meh, I don't really care though since it would probably just get dumped in with the scores of other games I start and never finish, like the GBA Tactics Ogre :P
