Friends are like seasons. If we're lucky they last long and the transitions are slow.
I recorded Caberetta yesterday. I finished some of the guitar tracks. It's gonna be cool stuff when I get done with it all.
I wrote a poem in my blog on myspace (myspace.com/sgt_may). All my stuff is public so feel free to go read w/e It's funny though. There is this girl who use to talk to me a lot and hasn't really talked to me in a while and when something she thinks is about her she starts asking me what the poem is about or for me to dissect the poem. Really the entire time she just wants to ask if it's about her. That's the only time I believe she really cares, is if someone is talking about her. The truth is. I didn't write it about her. It's not really about anyone. It's just a collection of traits.
I got a show tonight at the American Legion Hall. I might sit down and play the entire thing just to protest the show and all the metal bands. I like metal. Shut up. I'm sick of people talking shit about us or people in our band. I'm sorry if we enjoy our music. These insults I keep hearing...well they're the product insecurities. We're not trying to compete. It's music. It's art. It's not a fight you know? What the hell is wrong with people?
