The Answer Sang In Silence

Sep 25, 2005 19:01

She watched her last wish fall from her hand,
As the wind blew away all her hope,
All her dreams had fallen short of what she hoped for,
Crumbling like a building made of sand,
When the sun set she saw the east for the last time.

We're all looking to someone who is looking to someone for hope,
We're all walking blindly through the snow, barefoot in the cold,
What warmth is there in not knowing where you'll rest,

Give up these lies that He might give you life.

She layed down for the last time,
Saying her good-byes as the sky split in two,
Before her was her whole life, now tattered with despair,
She yelled, "There's only happiness in silence!"
Her hand began to shake but it was over in the sound of the end,
Rushing like water into a sinking ship,
Forever flooded her eyes,
The answer hung in the silence,
After the trigger had been pulled.

wrote it today. hope you like it. later.
