(no subject)
The So, after a really crummy week I felt the need to do some art for myself. Art I have been meaning to do since I got my replacement cell phone.
Since I had to buy a new cover for the phone, I went with a hard plastic one that I purchased from a nice man at the kiosk of our local mall. Cuz' apparently my phone is 'retired'. Old fart, last year's model, obsolete, oh noes! :O All of which means that they no longer carry covers for it at our friendly neighborhood Verizon stores. Well, no covers except the bouncy rubber ones, and you can't very well expect a custom paint job to last on those. So, mall kiosk guy. My hero. ><
In any case, this was the end result of painting while snuggled up with the hubby on the couch watching Dexter on Nexflix last night. Damn but that show is addictive! We're in season 2 right now, and I am totally hooked, as is he. Whiiich might explain him feeling a bit zombie-like at work tonight.
Me: Ooooo....damnit. I want to know what happens next!
Him: ......One more episode? Then bed, for real.
Me: Sure! Twist my arm....
*watch episode*
Me: Grrrrrrrr.....
Him: Daaaaaamnit! Ok, ONE more, but then that's really really IT.
Me: Hoo boy...you're gonna be a hurting puppy in the morning.
Him: Yeah yeah, I know. Fuck.
*proceeds to cue up another episode*
The up side is that I finished this while watching.
I am tired, but pleased. Been wanting something a bit more custom for a case for some time. I also picked up one for the hubby, and will be painting it tonight. Whoot. This is actually a lot of fun! Might have to offer commissions along these lines. "Pimp Your Cellphone Case". ^.^
And now, back to work! Aaaalmost done w/ my commission queue!
