So today was the yearbook thing. Is it just me or does that teacher not know how to plan shit? Everything was chaos, like always. Things would have been so much better if everyone was just together, with the yearbooks behind them, without those name things up on the wall. Then, after they signed their name and proved who they were, they could take their book over to another table to get all the free stuff/pay for the stuff.
Second, advertisement. Chalk on the ground, is sad. Very little people stare at the ground and read while they're walking, and even if they do, the whole school is way to crowded to see any of it. Plus the chalk was shit. We should have made posters instead of drawing on the lame ass hand out papers that told people to check every single page of their yearbook. Promotions should have been everywhere, like in the cafeteria, outside the pop shop (oh, and people standing in front of the window playing hackysack really didnt boost sales any), on every other pole, in windows, on the tack strips in the hallways.
Next is the staff. I really like how randy has the nerve to sign up for "bouncing" people, yet when I saw him he was just hanging out with his friends. That kid is such a fucker. He put himself on his OWN page. How low is that? You really have to join yearbook to put yourself in the yearbook 20 times? Also, did anyone else notice that when we ran out of yearbooks, no one went at first? No one had a clue if anyone had gone. So I commend Ralph and Cristina for going. And then because no one knew, Jillian and I went! So we went to the room and loaded the cart with a few boxes, and they werent in order, so Ms. Williams was searching through each box trying to find the books on the list she made. Getting tired of this shit, I take one of the no name boxes since there were people still waiting, and Ralph does the same, so we lug those 57 pound boxes from the attendence room to the cafeteria. While we were passing out these books and trying to get other people books, guess who was sitting over near the drink area? Thats right! Denise, Sam, Rachel, Elizabeth(not quite sure but I didnt see her behind the tables), and Jasmine (but she was assigned there, so she's okay.) Jillian probably spent half her time over there because she complains to much and doesnt do work. I cant believe those people just sat over there and stared at us busting our asses, but at least Jasmine came over to see if we needed help.
All in all, I think the people that worked the hardest were Cristina, Ralph and I. Next year I want to plan this and any other yearbook event. I think one of the problems was that it was on Friday, when students had better things to do, and there wasnt much of a threat. "If you dont spend 5 dollars now, you wont get your yearbook for two whole days!!! Nah!" Make them wait at least a week so then they see people with yearbooks and get jealous and want it more. Then, make them pay more to get their yearbook earlier than the regular distribution date.
Oh, and by the way, I'll be spending all my time in the pop shop if its open. Free food rocks.
