going to look at different jobs tomorrow/today, i was reminded of something this recruiter said about the army's new ad campaign and how lame it was that the marines don't get their kind of funding yet turn out far better quality military people, although he was much less eloquent about it, his thoughts on the subject were something more like, "yeah that was 4 billion dollars well fuckin' spent, now they have a new slogan and a brand new sign in the window...how's that go again?...yeah it should be more like there's weak, and then there's army weak, which is way fuckin worse." I couldn't hear the other part of the conversation, but yeah that guy is awesome. 4 billion dollars on that stupid ass slogan, and there are so many things that money could have been spent on. Like decent radios. The army had satalite communication in the first desert storm war, and the marines used the vietnam era technology. that's a load of horseshit considering the fact that the marines are so much smaller than the army, which is primarily a garrison force. Ok end rant.
