Awesome Show
I haven't updated since whenever but yea heres whats new.
Sunday was the 311 concert. I took off from work and I had the whole morning/afternoon to sleep late and it felt great! Then at around 2:30 i got ready to go. The car ride there wasnt that bad, and when we got to Jones Beach we hung out in the parking lot for a while until we acutally went to our seats. Me, Chantal, and Irene were just chillin and not even 5 mins were there these guys come up to us and start talkin. One of the guys names was Dana and at first I didnt believe him but then he showed me ID. LOL i thought it was rele cool to meet a guy named Dana cuz like i heard of guys named Dana but i never acutally met one. Anyways the Roots were awesome and their solos were great. When 311 came on i was so excited! Nick looked sooooo fuckin hott and when he sang Love song i wanted to just melt. I mean come on one of the hottest guys in music singing a romantic song his face on the screen and the waves of the ocean going by...just gorgeous. OK enough of that they played a lot of songs played for about 2 hours and then just as they were about to leave i got really pissed cuz they didnt play "Down" which is like one of my favorites and I was like wow they didnt play Down, Creatures, or Transistor but sure enough they came back on for an encore and they played Creatures and ended with Down. Okay so 2 i guess 2 out of 3 good enough. The fun didnt end there afterwards on the way home Irene was hungry so she stopped at this place called Roll n' Roast in Brooklyn omg amazing roast beef lol...like im not much of a roast beef fanatic BUT THIS let me tell you its the best roast beef i've had by far Mmm if you've never been there you gotta go.
Monday: Lets see went to school, came home and sat around, Lopes called in the afternoon inviting me to Target (pronouced Tar-jay). I met Jen at Target then we went over to Best Buy and we purchased a TV and then stopped at shoprite to get cooking supplies, but little did i kno that i would be cooking for the Lopes's family! woohoo i got to her house and Andy was busy with the Tv so he asked me to cook. I made Bolognese and for those who dont understand Italian "Meat-Sauce" first i chopped up all the onions and garlic and then added the sauce and basil, then i browned the meat, and threw that into the pot and VOILA! This all took place while Jen and Andy went back to best buy to get a Tv stand, so i invited Cava over and he kept me company but didnt help cook...he kinda just watched, thanks mike! Later on we ate the food and then we met Tony, Stevedave, Jon, and Alex at the movies to see I ROBOT interesting movie...after the movie i was exhausted so i went to bed around 12:30 and thats really it i had work today so i didnt go out cuz i got out at 8 and i took a shower. blah now im bored and i have a test tomorrow, wish me luck! ; )
