I really loved this. I came browsing around here to see what there was to read and found this lovely story as the first one of the bunch I tried out. I love the long slow tease of it. Great story.

McShep gun practice is a kink of mine. Guh, this was delicious. The descriptions of John and Rodney sliding close to one another under the guise of tutoring were particularly vivid. And how can I forget the off-world fire fight? I loved your prose. Excellent.
