You know the thing that really cracks me up is that I started this as a joke to entertain notpoetry and I couldn't help but think about poor John, not being allowed to fly, and this is what happened. Cracky crack fandom.

Oh, now I am teary and picturing John sitting forlornly at the table, letting go of a tiny, flying airplane toy so that it flies around his head as he sings, "Why am I such a misfit?" Because all he wants is to fly and elves don't fly.
