Oh, I definitely liked this. I particularly loved this
He was still that loud, brash, fucking know-it-all he'd been in Antarctica, but he was growing on John. Like a fungus.

A delicious, thirty-five-dollars-a-pound fungus. But a fungus.

A tall, broad-shouldered, blue-eyed fungus. But still. A fungus.
because even as it's funny it's adorable cause I can so see John look at Rodney that way.

And the scene in the jumper - laughter turning into so much hot. Rodney's reaction felt spot on for worrying about the tech at the same time as he's ogling John.

The fungus thing just wrote itself. And I worried about it being too much but it just cracked me up so much, I had to keep it. I'm glad you liked. It's always good to have someone like your jokes.
