This seems very real. Ray (V)'s emotions ring true and I can see Fraser and Ray K oppening their home to him. Nice setup, this works very well.

Man, what a hard prompt to pick! My mind was boggling at the logistics of it. First, you had to make up your post-apocolyptic disaster (good choice w/the atom bomb, btw - it's classic and stylish:-) and make it all real and believeable and such, and then you had to manuver the guys together and give them all some healing time (or at least a moment to reflect on the disaster) AND THEN you had to bring in the sex. Whew! All that in, what, less than 6000 words? That's crazy, but it works here. Every damn bit of it. It's a whirlwind, of course, but you used some great detail to wring every inch of emotion, drama and believeability out of this impossible scenario, and I liked your take on the Ray/Kowalski dynamic. Good work!
