so today is my last day of school, potentially FOREVER.
(i highly doubt the forver part, but it sounds good!)
anyways, stuffs alright. band's alright. boy's alright. etc etc.
things i have to accomplish today:
- email press photo to scene because they're writing about us again
- finish writing papers for business class, and drop them off at the mail office
- finish the last three seconds of the music video for "altered state"
- meeting with my bosses for my internship at 2pm
- video crit from 6-10pm
i can't wait til may's over, i'm graduated, and the internship from hell is over with.
june 1st my band moves into a house together. we're getting a van in june too, which means "bye cleveland, smell ya later"
yeah, anyway. i hung out with micah from giant drag for awhile after their show at the grog on monday, and gave annie a shirt and a cd since we didn't have any when we played with them back in november. micah's super cool. he's got some pictures of us from the show in november that he's going to email to us. i'd like to play with them again sometime soon. they're fun.
we're playing two (hopefully three) shows with ari-ari at the end of the month. it'd go akron, cleveland, columbus, if we could get some help with the akron and columbus parts of that plan. the promoter that had booked the show for akron (5/25) changed the venue to the phantasy, up in lakewood, and that place is not only a shithole that no one goes to, it's a shithole that no one goes to that's five minutes away from the venue we're all playing at the next night. (dumbass) so now we're trying to set up our own shit, all last minute because of this jerkass's last minute switch.
yeah.
we're doing a few dates going west to chicago in july, then going out for a longer stint in august, to places yet to be decided. whatever we choose, i'm sure it'll be really fun regardless. we haven't gone beyond buffalo yet.
