so the story goes like this:
i happened to go to pitchfork (indie website) for the first time in months (literally) and i was looking at a posting in the news section about Enon's tour dates, and at the bottom of the list there was a little blurb about how they were looking for a second guitarist who was multi-talented, and could do various things in the band. it said to contact the band directly, via their website, if it is of interest to you.
so, i figured, why not. i've long been a fan of their band, and this could be a big opportunity to get out and do exactly what i want to do - play music for a living. knowing it was a shot in the dark, i sent them an email about what i could do for them.
AND LO AND BEHOLD
i got a message back from john the next day, asking if my band could play two dates of their tour with them (cleveland @ the spot at CWRU on 4/19/06 and akron @ the limespider 4/18/06)... so they want to see me play.
i've got a feelin' somebody's watching me.
i really hope i get tapped to join their band.
i'm super excited...
