... is gone. He passed away one month ago today, having recently turned 70--- 70!--- and completed a beautiful trip to Spain. He and Bob had been back home for only about three weeks, and now, Chris is gone forever. It's been a long time, hasn't it? A lot has happened since I last wrote anything down! COVID-19 and its variants from [basically] March, 2020 until March 2022, tho' the world is still feeling the affects. I took some old slides I found to Dub King to have them scanned and put on a flash drive the day before my knee replacement.  One of them is of the four of us "kids" at Medina Lake, sitting on the porch railing.  Since I don't think I have a single photo of Pen and me, I cropped this one so that it looks like it was just him and me.

Saturday I FINALLY got the motivation to take a shower.  It felt great. The knee pad that goes with the Ossur Cold Therapy machine came :-D, and Cathleen came by in the evening to help me get it hooked up and running. We talked non-stop for over 3 hours, and I honestly think that we spoke more in those three hours than we have over the last 20 years. That's just sad.
