My favourite aunt is visiting us right now, and as much as I love her, she's really annoying me. Tuesday night, my mom was watching Gilmore Girls and talking about how much BETTER shows were in the seventies and eighties and how OVERSEXED television is nowadays. My mom is the GG fan, not me, because I only ever cared about it when Jess was on but it just pissed me off. That's one of my pet peeves-- when people COMPLAIN AND COMPLAIN about how bad a show is, then keep watching it. I get that they care about the characters but I cared about the characters on LOST, until I was complaining so much I was irritating MYSELF.
BUT I DIGRESS. And then last night, my aunt said that ANTM made girls bitchy and that Tyra Banks was mean, criticized the "unrealistic" procedures on Criminal Minds (she's a retired teacher!), and proclaimed that House is the only show on television that's "got it right", whatever that meants. THEN, my mother and my aunt started in on ME, about how I am sadly addicted to TV and need to be banned from technology for a couple of days. Luckily, they're much more easily distracted than they think and the crisis was averted.
I'm thinking that regular Thursday pattern should be I make a post, don't really f-list then fangirl about SPN tomorrow evening.
Oh! and I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon.
