okay so here's a list
Dear flist: right now I am going to give you a list because I cannot be fucked to make all that many coherent thoughts.
- I've-- almost beaten Dark Sector? lol but this game will never get beaten, seriously Jess is the worst gamer ever. I'm at the last boss and I'm not quite sure if I want to bother? grhh. gah so tits up It'll get beaten eventually, I think, but like-- not today, man.
- Yesterday I went over to Jazz's house in the evening and immediately after arriving headed out to Caffe D's, whereupon I ate my second meal of the day in the form of New York style cheesecake and strawberries. I also picked off her crepe. Had a ginormous sugar rush and spent the next half hour talking very excitedly about Will and Lance. Then we walked to Sobeys and bought a lot of junk, following which we went to Indigo and I spent an excessive amount of money on books. STUFF WOT I BOUGHT:
1. Hold Me Closer, Necromancer, which looks pretty much hilarious, and
2. another book called Candleman which Amazon is apparently not interested in, yes I do all my shopping in the YA section. It seems to involve ~*special things*~.
- We also talked a lot about Digimon? Which is something I haven't thought about since I was, like, nine. I have a few crushes.
- Might've mentioned this before but I'm totally back into Pokemon as well, which should come as no surprise. Adoring Will and Lance to no end. CANON: WILL IS A FLOUNCY DORK. NOT SO CANON: WILL'S SLUTTINESS GOT HIM INTO THE E4. Sort of also want Koga/Will and Lucian/Will and pretty much everyone in the world/Will. Oh my stars, Silver, whenever did you get so pretty
- Oh, fuck me, when did this come out you guys.
- After that we went back to her place and watched some shit. AS FOLLOWS:
1. Death Race. Oh gods above, Death Race. Definitely not the first time I've seen it (or even the first time I've seen it with Jazz) by a long run, but I still love it something fierce. SPOILER ALERT: JENSEN WANTS JOE TO BE AN HONEST MAN. THEY RUN OFF AND RAISE A CHILD TOGETHER. THE END.
2. Then I fell asleep so the next morning we watched Death Race 2 for the first time over krispy kreme donuts, oh god I can't even bring myself to feel bad, it was so good. This movie owns my soul dshfdgkl i don't even know where to staaaart. I have such a hard-on for the Frankenstein mask and Luke in general and this movie pretty much did everything I was hoping it would (up to and including making Jensen even more of Luke's crazy mind-twin) and managed to throw in some stuff that turned me into an unexpectedly happy puddle of goo on top of that (like how much I want to fistbump the hell out of 14K and his fantastic badassery). I was sort of nervous going into it but imo it was a giant shiny bling-fueled gun-toting bloody success.
3. A few hours ago I also got to see The Mechanic which, for all intents and purposes, left me a mess but in a fantastic way. The end sort of made me want to throw things BUT BESIDES THAT oh god, oh god, fffff. Major selling points: Jason Statham is a hitman who takes on an apprentice. Said apprentice is a Problem Child and is very tiny and redheaded and looks very young and is partial to newsboy caps, and the first mission he gets sent on involves, quite literally, acting young and innocent and charming and get a little drunk to seduce a man and then kill him. (You can only imagine how uncomfortable all the dudebros in the theatre got when he dropped to his knees and started undoing his belt, IT WAS GLORIOUS.) Pretty much everyone needs to watch this. I am maybe looking at you a little bit, anneka_neko.
- SO HOW EXCITED ARE WE FOR SILENT HILL: DOWNPOUR OH GOD. Honestly this is coming from someone whose legit fave protagonist is goddamn Alex Shepherd so maybe idk, the rest of you will have issues with this game that I won't, but s;kljds. I SORT OF LOVE THE NAME I WON'T EVEN FRONT
- Managed to finally order myself a Psycho Mantis figure with Jazz's financial assistance. My face: *_____________* HE IS COMING IN THE MAIL I AM SO EXCITED SD'KS;AKLJA
AND NOW, now I'm going to go draw shit. Keep holding down the fort and all, troops.
