Lordy I'm tired. Second semester starts Tuesday; I will be taking six courses at once. Also my piano teacher and I had this brilliant idea to push me through three grades and a theory test in a year and a half.

uh. I'll be over here. On the floor.

evidence of how braindead I am: I tried to use my tablet pen on my touchpad and was worried when it didn ( Read more... )

alsdnfalkndfadsf YOOOUUUU *tackles*

I was wondering where you've been! School's a bitch, ain't it? I am only taking five courses this semester, but three of them are creative writing. Which means my brain is all BLUGHABLUGH ORIGINAL FICTION and I have no tiiime for fanfic.

Also as is evidenced by my speech patterns I am quite tired as well.

Though I've yet to put the toothpaste in the closet.

I have, however, done the stylus-on-touchpad thing, though.

OH OH at one point you expressed interest maybe storta in my original stuff? I'm posting it over at anshin_fiction now, since that's basically AAAALLL I'm gonna be doing this semester, holy shit.

MEANWHILE ON THE SUBJECT OF MOVIES holy shit Avatar and Sherlock Holmes were both a-freaking-mazing. And you neeeeeeed to see Princess and the Frog YESTERDAY, srsly, it's like my new favourite Disney movie. Which is saying something because my old favourite is The Little Mermaid and nothing's managed to usurp its throne since I was like five. But it's fifteen flavours of amazing and Dr. Facilier is up there with Scar and Malificent and Frollo and Ursula for badass Disney villains.

...see what you did I'm talking too much i need to go to bed...

LOGAN AND REMY AGGRESSIVE ICON IS APPROPRIATE.

I'm sorry I disappeared! School is-- well there is nothing I can say about school that has not already been said or thought by millions of frustrated students over the years. Dx Three creative writing courses at once! ablugh. ;-; I'm not taking anything too important right now, just-- lots and lots of not-importantness. wuh.

I AM GOING TO GO FRIEND YOU OVER THERE RIGHT NOW. gleeee, original fic. <3 I'm very excited.

This discussion is so appropriate because right now I am at Jazz's house and she is sitting next to me and watching Disney tributes on Youtube, and we are talking about Facilier. :D HE LOOKS SO FIERCE. God I've been excited about Princess and the Frog for-- ages now and somehow I never got around to seeing it. There's a place in town that plays movies that have just recently left theatres, so I might have to see it there. GOD HOW WONDERFUL IS IT, SERIOUSLY, YOU HAVE TO TELL ME EVERYTHING, I CANNOT WAIT.

(and lord, Scar. Scar was my first obsession as a kid. You have no idea-- I would create ages and ages of stories for him in my head and then force my family to help me recreate them irl. It was pretty amazing. I love Disney. <3)

VERY APPROPRIATE, YES. School. I have a French test on Wednesday that I am NOT going to pass. HALP.

okay so there is like one story up over there right now but THERE WILL BE MORE SOON I SWEAR. <3

I CANNOT TELL YOU EVERYTHING BECAUSE IF I TELL YOU EVERYTHING THEN THE STORY WILL BE SPOILED but oh my god his theme song is so badass, I've seen the movie three times and it still sends shivers down my spine. FACILIER DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH SCREENTIME, OKAY. That's my only complaint. But the movie was spectacular all the same. OOH OOH AND THE SCENE WITH THE FIREFLIES WHEN THEY'RE SINGING "GOIN' DOWN THE BAYOU" oh my god. That scene. It is the most spectacular piece of animation I've seen since...IDK, since UP. The movie is beautiful in every way. PLEEEASE TELL ME WHEN YOU FINALLY GET TO SEE IT BECAUSE I LOVE SQUEEING ABOUT IT SO MUCH.

(Omg, that's adorable. Scar was awesome. I haven't seen Lion King in so long.)

owww French. D: You know, funny story about French class-- this year, I created a character for a superhero-esque story who's a sort of a mad-chemist-people-are-lab-rats type dude. (It's unashamedly kooky, I don't even try to take his character seriously.) And he grew up in Quebec, so he's bilingual but he always slips back into French just for the sheer weirdness of some of its terms of endearment, and I ended up doing a lot of French research to get his character right. And, uh, then I got my marks back, and I'd passed French this term with a 98. (so I kind of adore him now. <3) BUT GOOD LUCK, SERIOUSLY. You won't do as bad as you think you're going to, seriously, it never happens like that.

oh my god seriously if I didn't have a science report to write I would totally be looking up that movie right now and watching it. I FEEL REALLY BAD ABOUT MY ILLEGAL MOVIE-WATCHING HABITS but oh god he it sounds beautiful. ;---; (I will try to restrain myself until this weekend when I can see it in an actual theatre and be a good, responsible movie-watcher and pay money to see it, but no guarantees.)

(I know, right? god, the entire movie is awesome. Circle of Life still makes me tear up sometimes, and I am totally not embarassed to admit that because it's just so awesome.)
