There's a fairly common setting in fantasy stories - books, games, what have you - where a powerful necromancer raises an army of the dead to take over the town/kingdom/world, and it is the job of the main characters to prevent that from happening (which frequently involves a dangerous infiltration of the dark fortress). Really, it's common enough to be cliché.
Where are the movies?
Are they there and I've just missed them somehow? Sure, it's easy to find zombies and vampires, but not generally as the armies of a necromantic overlord. The second half of Army of Darkness is about the closest thing I can think of, but there's got to be more than that.
