New Computer
Yesterday Luis called me from Best Buy. He was asking me questions on what to look for in a computer. Yep, he bought a new computer. It is an E Machine. That was what my very first computer was. This one is a bit cooler than our old dinosaur we have been using. It has 320 GB, and hardly anything on it, leaving us tons of room for picture software and games and more.
I did find out that I had lost my CD for the qwest DSL. Wow, I forgot how freaking slow dial up was. I did get the highspeed up and running. I could not figure out what in the hell was wrong with it and called Qwest for help. Damn, I wish that they would only hire people who can speak english clear enough to be understood. I am certainly not prejudiced at all, anyone who knows me know I am not racist, hehe. This guy sounded like oriental and could not even pronounce the letters well enough for me to get them. We had to play the B as in boy, I as in ice cream G as in golly gee you sure are a stupid dumb ass. LOL. I had to repeat everything to him like a hundred times, and I could so tell he was reading back to me off of a card on computer telling him what to say as he put in my responses. Sheesh. Granted the dork was able to finally after an hour or so help me to get it right. The thing is that with this newer computer it has an earthnet port, I think that is what it is called. So, all I had to do was unplug the USB and in the earthnet and bam! I have highspeed again.
How funny that Jessy person who is chatting with me. She does not know who I am. Off to get a good laugh...will write about it shortly.
