I just got an owl from my sister that said she and Carol had their babies last night. Alicia had a healthy little boy and named him John while Carol had a healthy little girl and named her Alexandra. No pictures yet, but Alicia said she'd send some soon and she said if she can manage, she may bring him to the next Hogsmeade. I'm pretty excited about it all, obviously. Never thought So I'm an uncle now!
I wish good news could just make piles of homework disappear. That would be incredible, but since it hasn't, I suppose I should get back to it. Which means trudging back to the library since I must have left the Transfiguration book I was working with somewhere between there and the common room.
As Head Boy, I should probably take this time to remind everyone that Hallow'een is coming up (not that anyone really needs reminding of that) and in the past it's always been a time for pranks to run rampant through the castle. Just remember to respect curfew and the rules of the castle.
Now that I've rained on everyone's parade, back to my own homework, I go!
