i finished christmas shopping today..finally. i've been to the mall about 4 times in the past week. usually i don't procrastinate christmas shopping because it's so disgustingly crowded but it was okay. a relief to be done.
after i had a meltdown at home this evening, i went to viv's for dinner and for the final day of our secret santa. neene got me this adorable coach wristlet and wrote a card that made me cry. literally. i know i'm a baby and cry during basically every movie i see but a card made me cry. it was just really nice what she wrote.
mommy made vodka sauce, and i made apple crisp. we ate both and then went into the living room to sit. i decided the combination of warm apple crisp and cold vanilla ice cream makes for one of the most delicious treats. greg came over and we watched the first episode of the o.c. on dvd. it's very funny because all of my friends and i all sat around to watch it the first time it aired and the whole 10 minutes we watched it-all we did was make fun of it. now look how popular it is. go figure.
