what a freakin cute night. i'll pay for it tomorrow, but it was worth it.
friends gather on a rooftop, pillows everywhere. brie and the setting sun. we play games - bs and concentration and some made up ones. my stomache hurt from laughing. the moon came out, the lights of the city appeared, and the bridge was distinct on the skyline. more friends arrive, the cake with its careful peace sign is brought out with a fluorish. in the dark we light candles and sing. and go on an adventure through the berkeley streets... some old friends, some we've just met. a silly movie on our floor.
i just need to hang on to what is good right now.
