Kanye West lets his emotions take control during
an NBC Hurricane Relief program. West carves the first
footholes for responses, both in the forms of regards and moneys,
from Hollywood stars. Hopefully others in the media are able
to respond as with such personal honesty and nobility as West:

Geraldo Rivera and Shepard Smith of FOX News respond to
Hurricane Katrina in a journalistic and humane fashion that cannot be
fabricated from a newsroom or a broadcast news studio.

plight the people of New Orleans are facing. Commendable jobs from a usually
uninspiring media.

196 Million for disaster relief. Tonight in Lenape my colleagues and I will be
collecting money to donate to the Red Cross.

I can't do much, but I believe every effort matters.

Keep your eyes and minds wide open to the media and you may feel the things that make
indifference and helplessness pale.
