Your drivers test? I'm all confused. What prior stage of your life and education was cut so tragically short that that never happened?
Well, despite environmental guilt, massively increased risk of death compared to other daily activities (except, I guess, not so much for the asbestos cleaners), and phoenomenally large number of ways to get financially butt-raped (I got a hundered dollar ticket just yesterday for, i'm serious, *seven minutes* of illegal parking), ... you're still entering one of the coolest parts of modern existence. Although this may possibly not be true in Massachusetts, driving is the greatest form of travel in existence. The perfect balance between exposure to distance, environment and capacity to overcome them. Except. Hmm. Maybe a motorcycle is better, at least if you don't care how long you live.
Anyway, congradulations. If you only had a car, I imagine you would immediately feel the relief.
this may sound funny, weinberg, but somehow I can really see you out in a godforsaken wilderness somewhere cleaning up chemical spills. I think it's a short-story-perfect match for your personality, passions and interests. So there. knock em dead.
