Well, oil hit $50.01 p/b today. I guess that's exciting. Supposedly this most recent price hike is due to a combination of Hurricane Ivan striking the gulf of mexico, Nigerian rebels on an all out offensive against the nigerian gov't, and refineries switching over to heating oil production.

Whoop-di-doo. This wasn't nearly as exciting as I'd thought it would be. I shoulda bought stock in oil companies. Dang.
