Day #1-For real this time

Jun 04, 2012 08:14

I've written a couple of journal entries, published them only privately, for fear of failure. See, I have this thing, I hate being at the beginning of something, and when I fail because I'm a beginner, I continue failing, but privately, because it doesn't count as that big of a fail if only you know about it right?

Actually, I think I need to twist that thought a full 180 degrees. So here's what we're going to try, failing and falling on our padded baby diapers and getting into those training pants, and hey, maybe one day I'll be wearing my big girl panties. Or really, my smaller, athletic girl panties.

Another thing, I'm going to have to apologize for the continuity roller coaster these posts are going to be riding for the first few entries. Another thing I struggle with, rou----rou---routine. A former cuss word to me, but now I'm trying to talk like a sailor!

Here's what I did Day #1:

5:55 am--drank 20 oz. H20
6:00 am--stretched for 12 minutes
6:15 am-- This workout:
30 Jumping Jacks
5 Push ups (girly ones)
25 knee highs
10 crunches
7 squats
30 butt kicks (I actually did this 30 on each side)
5 push ups (again, girly)
10 crunches
30 jumping jacks
1 minute wall sit (okay, I did 30 seconds)
10 crunches

Repeat 2X (and here I only made it through once)

BUT--IT"S A FIRST START! I'm going to keep doing this until I can do this like I'm supposed to 2X through, then we'll find something more challenging.

6:34 am--Stretched for maybe 5 minutes (going to up this to 12)
6:40 am--Drank 16 more oz. of H20
6:42 am--Shower
7:00 am--on here to write

Now it's 7:10 and I have a pretty good first entry written. So this is somewhat how I want my mornings to look. Water, stretch, work out, stretch, water, shower, write.

However, and if anyone reads this, feel free to give me feedback, I felt extremely light headed afterwards, and I'm sure it's because my breathing sucks, but I wonder if I also drank too much water immediately afterward? It's finally calming down a little, but even in the shower...whew-doggy, it got me....got me so bad I just used the phrase "Whew-doggy"

Goal: By June 30-down to size 22/20, 20lbs (at least) down, able to do a real push up, moving on to a different work out.
