my overly delayed meta fic

I really, really, really wanted to finish this on time since it’s my first Meta fic. I’ve had the bare bones of the plot in my head for weeks, but for some reason couldn’t seem to make the story work - and reach the required word count. So I’m a procrastinating drabbler. And lj punished me by making me wait a whole day before i can post this.

It's such a shame you didn't make the deadline (I sympathise; I only just made it myself) because I like the use you made of the lyrics and the prompt here. In particular, the letter from Tonks, is very distinctive and full of characteristic "I'm not giving up on you or letting you give up!" which contrasts really well with Remus' lethargy and grief. And I have to agree that if Sirius had lived he probably wouldn't have let Remus make such a mess of things - I liked the line about losing two people he loved one to an enemy, the other by his own conscience.

If you let me or one of the other mods have the link to this, we'll include it in the final masterlist for you if you'd like. It gets posted at a few places and hopefully more people will have the chance to read this?

thanks a lot for the lovely review! i'm glad you enjoyed, and if you'd seen the fic before the deadline you'd have agreed it looks so much better now :D
also, i'm particularly happy about the way i used the prompts, so i'm tickled pink that you noticed :)

btw, i've sent the link to godricgal and mrstater, and they said it will be included in the masterlist after the voting has finished. and hopefully this'll get more concrit especially with the brit speak (since chary and i are used to american english, so we may have missed a few americanisms)

er, just tell me how to pimp the comm though... but it's definitely going up my links list :) and i might put up a post to pimp it... though with my success rate with posting, that may take a loooooong while...
