hot.... heat... sun
so long time no entry. nothing really is new or worth writing about, or i just didn't feel like it. yesterday i started shopping for dorm stuff. i was completely amazed by all the stuff at bed, bath and beyond. who knew there could be so many types of sheets and bath towels?! anyways, got some stuff .... down to 7 weeks and 4 days until my first day of classes.
today fran, paul and i went down to gustavus for the day, little road trip for us. they got to see where i will be spending the next four years of my life. had a picnic in the park near downtown st. peter. scouted out a cute cafe and the econo foods (which will probably come in handy while i'm there). walked around campus, air conditioning!! since it was sooo hot and the car we took down there didn't have air. good times driving, singing and that wind!!! me and fran had stylish hair afterwards.
so .. i'm down to one week until i leave for michigan. i don't htink i'm looking forward to it. i guess i hadn't realized before that it's for NINE days. out in michigan where i'll be working probaly in the heat with no friends. i don't want to meet new people yet, i just wish i oculd be home in my own bed, with my own stuff around me. but then again it is a service trip and i will be helping people.
well i'm about 10 episodes to go and i'll be done with sex and the city... and only a season and a quarter of dawson's creek left. wow i've watched a lot of tv.
