No. That would be silly. I mean that everyone is good but sometimes they act in a manner that they think is right, and end up hurting people. They just are mislead and need to be redirected to the right path.

Person A has Person B captured and helpless. Person A performs a large variety of extremely painful actions upon Person B, well aware that Person B will be in an immense amount of pain, ignoring any of Person B's pleas to stop. Person A enjoys this pain, and does not relent.

I don't know the circumstances for why Person A is doing anything, what reasons that they think that they have to hurt Person B. They're incorrect about whatever it is that they are thinking and just ... need to be set right.

If I was in the situation as Person B, I would like to be hopeful that the person that is holding me captive is ... human. Is a good person. I wouldn't want to think that they were 'evil'.
