kitty...
This morning I left a little early for Methods II, which I do a lot because if you get there early she explains how to answer the Daily Questions. But I got to class pretty much right on time.
As I was walking from Firelands through the parking lot next to Rax, I saw this really pretty stray cat. It was a medium haired Tabby. At first I figured it was the same tabby cat I saw awhile back that ran away, completely terrified... but just in case I walked towards it and snapped my fingers, calling "kittyyyy"
The tabby perked his ears up instantly and ran quickly towards me. I began to pet him and he started purring immediately and nuzzling towards my ankles. He even let me pick him up and hold him for long periods of time, purring consistently and looking at me with beautiful greenish yellow kitty eyes.
When I put him down again, he looked up at me and continued to nuzzle against my ankles. I think I stood there playing with him for at least 5-10 minutes... I was so tempted to call Katie and Carly and be like, "we *need* this cat!"... but then I thought about how expensive it would probably end up being to get it tested for stray-cat diseases, neuter it, and then all the other reasons why we decided it would be a bad idea to get a cat...
