I haven't written here in a while; I think I will today.
So, I'm back in Hattiesburg now, if you didn't know. Graduate school. Currently procrastinating on grading papers. Listening to the Velvet Underground's Loaded, thanks to a recommendation by darkreverend. BTW, Sweet Jane is your guilty pleasure? Because I personally love Rock and Roll.
And I'm really happy to be back in town. It feels right. Nothing terribly wonderful going on, but I do have a few things going my way. I feel rather content and my biggest worry is when that's going to end. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
That's about it. Had a party this weekend at my new house. I don't really do house parties, so I was a little nervous, but it went off well. Ended up being a small group playing cards, drinking wine and hanging out. I'll be glad when we finish the back yard.
I had something else significant that I've now forgotten.
