1.  Would anyone be interested in going to New Orleans' Thursday, August 7th, for the Terror of the Sea/Barisal Guns/Brass Bed show? 
2.  This is aimed towards to MSMS people...Are y'all actually planning to do any of the planned events next weekend?  I'm coming in on Friday and would like to get a feel for the situation before hand.

I'm going to some MSMS stuff Saturday, and I know a bunch of folks from my class who are planning on being there.
Also there is going to be a BBQ at my house Friday night, with what should be a handful of peeps from my class, ie, Jack, Trisha, Desi (I think...and whoever she drags along), Tad, etc. So if you aren't into the stuff on campus Friday night, you're welcome at my house!

Okay---thanks! I don't think I'm going to get into town until after 8 on Friday. A friend's coming with me and she doesn't get off work until 5. I'm guessing your cook-out is going to be earlier in the day than that?

I'll see you on Saturday, I'm sure. I figure I'll just head to campus around the time of the picnic.
