Sleeping too heavily (1 of 4)

Lately I've been sleeping completely through both the alarm clock and Mel's attempts to wake me. This morning, for instance, the alarm went off a 5am. I, however woke up at something like 6:10. could it be a case of you getting old so your body just demands more or deeper rest? When was the last time you went in for a checkup?

No, that's me, and Matt's a year younger than me. So he has no excuse other than he just likes to sleep. And frankly, who can blame him? We all like to sleep. It's fun and restful. Except when you have weird dreams.

It COULD be. I am getting older and creakier. The thing that bothers me is that it's an "all of a sudden" thing. I can point to a day and say "on this day the problame started."

It's not necesarily a "I can't get my ass out of bed thing" either. That's been going on for a while. What's bothering me is the fact that I've completely lost any sense of time "another five minutes" ends up being an hour or more.
