So here's what we'll do for this month...
I got off to a late start with the polling because I had a wedding that weekend. The theme of Indian Literature will run from today until the end of October to give everyone enough time to read. I found several people had a difficult time finding Orange Laughter last month and we did not get some great discussions going. Others still planned on reading it.
Nectar in a Sieve by Kamala Markandaya
Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie
have won the poll. Read one or both books during the next month and a half and we will discuss. (I found Midnight's Children at my library.) Feel free to post about any other works of Indian Literature or any other books that have "wow"-ed you this month.
Happy Reading!
