After a pretty rough week, you'd think your teachers would lighten up and give you a break...but with teachers like mine, that's never the case. Here's the breakdown on what's been happening these past couple of weeks:
Two weeks ago, our church had the Vietnamese Charismatic group, which was awesome...opened my eyes to new aspects on our faith. Plus, I got to see my cousin, (who is a priest and leader of this organization). He came down from California, and I haven't seen him in a couple of years. Other people came from Washington state and Pennsylvania just to hear him talk! XD, he's pretty famous, huh? :p His parishoners were awesome too...needless to say, those three days were some of the best in my life.
After that, things got better. Keep God, keep everything, right? So I got my priorities straight and things have been getting better ever since. Then, this past week, things just started going CRAZY. Meetings every single day before and after school, worrying about TSA, HOPE Club, Homecoming and Prom, and grades not doing too great. And the evil witch Settle just kept on piling stuff up one after another. I had study hall for half the day on Monday though, and my good friends helped with out with my work..something I haven't been able to do ever since school's started. I love my friends..dunno what I'd do w/o them...One of these days, I'm gonna go up and slap Settle. She said on Friday," Turn in your stuff" when we asked what order to turn it in, she said"I wrote it on the board for says! (When it was on there for like one minute two days before)I'm not gonna spoon feed it to you." Uh, no ma'm. We work our butts of there for you, and then you go and act like we don't do anything?! Don't think so. and she wonders why so many people have dropped her class. GRR! But from now on, we're gonna get sleep, cause we're gona divide up the mountain of work we have...there we go again, can't live without friends. THEN..I had six tests total on Thur. and Fri...and Settle decided to let us know we'll have a death week for the next two weeks. She gives us a massive reading assignment over the weekend and every night. OMG, one of these days, I'm tellin' ya...
Then, soccer game on Saturday. My friend JD got his ankle broken, I got headbutted in the jaw, we got two yellowcards, and...we lost 1-7. Pitiful, yes, I know. That doesn't make things any better, but at least I got some excersise...
So, yeah. There you have it, my month of September in a nutshell. I hate school right now, but Church has given me a new way of thinking of things. If I do fail my classes, I'll fall fighting. If I do fail my classes, I'll go down with honor.
